Good Morning Monday....I woke up early and I am done with a loads of morning chores including my cooking till lunch time. Now I am here with my cup of tea and mylot. Husband will leave for office a little late than usual and that is same as the time for younger one to leave for school. So he would drop her to school. That saves me some time and definitely a lot from morning mad traffic. Seems I have some time in hand. So I would just go to my garden and work on my muscles harvesting few veggies. cleaning up the pots, watering the plants and cleaning up my terrace. My gardener has not been very punctual in recent times and I am really upset with that. I might rather do the work on my own. So I do not have any morning exercise on my list today. I will rather sweat in my garden. Anyway I have an hour of waiting in the evening outside Music class of my daughter and I can use it for walking around and finishing few errands. I went to my garden in the morning to pick up some Tulsi leaves ( basil) for my tea. Husband has cold and these leaves do wonder in cold and cough. I was caught by the beautiful blooms in my garden. But it looked a bit untidy and uncared forfor. The picture is of a bunch of hibiscus blooming in my garden. So here I pull on my sleeves and pick up the gardening tools. That's going to keep me occupied for some time. Catch you later! What's on your list for the day?

Yes winters might make you stay indoor. I hope plants in your garden will survive the winter. Do you put some of them indoors now??

I woke up late but feeling great after yesterday’s binge eating. Today, I don’t have much work to do online so I’ll probably catch up on a few tv shows. I also did a little cleaning done — hoping to do some more later.

'tis brilliant he's able to take her to school so's ya aint the need to battle that traffic. most stressful schtuff. lovely blossoms'n the hibiscus! perhaps i need to send ya mine, seems y'ave a secret to multi blooms, lol. yes ma'am, basil 'tis good fer such. sadly the hubs here'll not drink't, prefers to suffer'n complain. i love tendin' the plants'n can't wait fer late spring when all these go outdoors'n get joined by others. i reckon yer cold spells'n rains 've gotten yer garden a bit off schedule. i ne'er make a list, jest take thingies's they come. one 'f the perks 'f all my young'uns grown.

I have six different varieties of hibiscus in my garden. I love it when I can be rid of driving in crazy traffic. Winters in your part can really be too much and make you stay indoors. I am sure you enjoy your gardening in Spring.

@crazyhorseladycx Hibiscus is a shrub and it does perish after few years. I have these from last 5 years and I think that they should last a couple of years more. Then I need to replace them. Good that you have a sun porch where you can do a bit of winter gardening.
