Different places have different languages, foods, and many other things. I experienced this when I first visited South Africa and I happened to stay in an Indian dominated community. I found that their foods are very different to what I have been used to. It was a very shocking experience moment for me and it took a bit of time for me to get used to it.
Have you ever visited a place with different culture, language or foods from what you are used to?

Yes, my family experienced culture shock when we moved from the suburbs of a small southern US town in Virginia to an apartment in downtown Jersey City, NJ. All those Yankees couldn't understand a word I said!
