I have toothache but after taking pain killers medicine they will be gone and not painful anymore. When I eat something hard the tooth will be broken to pieces. I don't want to have tooth extraction. I just want my tooth to broke into pieces and no need to see the dentist. I have toothache every three years or four years.

Go to see your dentist, because the root will remain inside the gum and you can get a serious infection.

If the pain persist I have no choice but to get it extracted to relieve myself of pain. Since now it is not quite painful I will wait for more days

It is better to go to see a dentist. I know it is not pleasant to see a dentist, but at least you shall try to fix your dental problem before it goes terrible and the tooth can not be saved.

In 45 years I only had toothache ONCE and I went to the dentist but I did not follow her recommendation to have my #26,27,28 be X-Ray'd. I want to leave it like that too

I used to be so scared of dentist and let my teeth rot to avoid getting an extraction. But when I came across a very good dentist the extraction was really quick and almost painless, I go to her immediately whenever I have toothache for extraction. So you got to find a good dentist.
