All I can say is that the con artist who took advantage of the kindness of Barbara Hinckley who is 95 years of age is that one day karma will get him ot her one day.
The con artist who claimed to work for Publisher's Clearing House (PCH) called Barbara to inform her that she won a cash prize of $2.5 million dollar prize plus a Mercedes Benz by giving him the fee money which wiped out her $16,000 dollars that she had in her saving account.
Thanks to former Maine Governor John Baldacci, the community in Auburn Maine held a spaghetti dinner to raise funds for Barbara to regain the money that she lost to a scam artist at a restaurant where around $18,000 dollars was raised to assist Barbara get back on her financial feet once again.
It appears that Barbara's family used the power of either social media or the local media to alert others not to pay money to a sweepstakes company since the money is taken out of the winnings via taxes collected by the government.
Barbara's family is making sure that she does not make the same mistake again since elderly people make easy targets for scam artists.

It is a shame that a scam artist goes over elderly people to take their hard earned savings from them.

It is true since they are naïve to realize that the world has good people and not look out for the crooks.
