Do you ever have stale or leftover bread and are about to toss it? I have a yummy and frugal solution.
I know we are not to do recipes here. I am just going to tell you a few little things...
Grab that Crock-Pot!
Throw in torn pieces of bread.
Throw in eggs.
Throw in milk.
Throw in cinnamon.
Throw in vanilla.
Mix.
HIGH 2 hours.
Throw on butter and syrup!
Voila! Crockpot French Toast!
Why throw away perfectly good food? With this concoction, you would never know day-old bread tasted so good. Maybe even buy day-old bread on purpose and create this dish as a frugal way to make a meal, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

@JudyEv We had a loaf and a half of day old bread. I went to grab them this morning, only to find the roommates through the bread out. I kept my cool, but we could have had a delicious dish of Crock-Pot french toast for dinner today.
