It Looks Like Winter is Here

While I'm sharing the last autumn block, I look out of my window and see winter.
It snowed all day. Probably almost 6 inches (15cm) of fluffy white stuff.
Funny though, the storm they keep warning us about isn't supposed to arrive until tomorrow and even then the forecast is only calling for about 6 inches (15 cm).
Time will tell what happens. So far they are wrong more often than right.

@crazyhorseladycx our power has held...through storm and wind....good thing. It would get cold really, really fast the way that bitter wind was howling. Thank goodness we weren't in Newfoundland. They have a category 2 hurricane (blizzard). Wind....sustained at 160 km/h. (100 mph)... With snow.

Thursday's snow was a non event....but today the wind is howling and a lot of snow it blowing past our window.

It's very cold this morning...-10°C, I can't be bothered to do the conversion....just..it's cold....it's very windy...and I'm watching the drifting snow.

Still no need for the snowblower....but the wind today is causing a lot of drifting.

I gave up believing our weather people because they are not very good at predicting the weather here in winter. I check or go out on the porch and see how the weather is.
