Watching the Blue Jays + Coffee + Cats

Woke up to chilly temperatures this morning in the 30s. I bundled up and took my coffee to the screen room anyway. The cats followed of course. I filled up the bird feeder. It only took a few minutes for the blue jays, woodpecker, doves, and other birds to show up. When I came inside I snapped some photos. Hard to photograph through the screen. So I stood at the patio door and got lots of photos. Sharing this one as the blue jays were enjoying the peanuts. Have a good day everyone. The sun is shining, that is a good sign.

I was watching the Thrushes, this morning, as was Mr H over his brekkie. I turn my back for five minutes and there must have been a hoard of them as all the meal worms, suet and seeds were gone when I looked back!

They love them. They will often hide them all over the years. Kind of like squirrels.

aw, sweet! i'm glad ya bundled'n ventured. 'lways love watchin' the birds. 've done so lots this morn. purty certain their feeders 're near empty. debatin' whether i wish to brave the ice laden porch to refill now. with the inclement weather, the ferals sought refuge elsewhere, givin' the birds'n all their friends a feedin' frenzy. glad y'ave sunshine. i'd say i wished fer such here, but 't least these clouds're holdin' some heat'n.
