On average each block took about a week to assemble and applique. Then I allowed another week for embellishing the seams.

The quilt blocks depict the seasons. This one pictures things associated with winter.

It was free until August 31 (I think). Over the course of several months the blocks were released, one at a time. I downloaded and printed the patterns....selected my fabric and jumped in.
The local quilt shop has a weekly get together and there were a couple of us working on this quilt. There are some doing "Dear Jane" and over the last couple of months one girls was also doing the current Bonnie Hubter mystery quilt.
