The cats are chasing each other

First the old man can Striper chases Charlie the 9 month old kitten down the hallway and into the bedroom. I thought that he was being aggressive towards Charlie but then Charlie turns right around and chases Striper down the hall and into the front room. I guess they are playing. I heard a bit of hissing but overall it has been quiet except for them racing around.

It sounds it's good for Striper to have a playmate. I'm sure they'll settle down as they get used to one another, but it does sound like they are playing.

@NJChicaa Which is good for both of them. The kitten gets it's energy out, and the older cat gets some exercise.

I guess they will get used to each other soon enough. The dog is sleeping in the bed in his crate...and Nico keeps wanting to stick his paw in there and harass him. No wonder the dog doesn't like him.

Your adult two cats did the exact same thing! Striper is probably glad to have a young newcomer, to romp around with:)
