I don't quite know why I bought this CD as I'm not that crazy about Bread's music; or maybe my tastes have changed over the years...Or maybe I just need to listen to their music again. Bread is an American soft rock band that had 13 songs make the Billboard Hot 100 chart between 1970-1977. Tracks: 1. Make It With You 2. Dismal Day 3. London Bridge 4. Anyway You Want Me 5. Look What You've Done 6. It Don't Matter to Me 7. The Last Time 8. Let Your Love Go 9. Truckin' 10. If 11. Baby I'm-a Want You 12. Everything I Own 13. Down on My Knees 14. Aubrey 15. Diary 16. Sweet Surrender 17. The Guitar Man 18. Fancy Dancer 19. She's the Only One 20. Lost Without Your Love Here's one of their big hits, "Baby I'm-a Want You": Photo Credit: Pixabay

In the 70's they were the kings of soft-rock. I downloaded a playlist of their greatest hits and made a CD. So many great songs!! When your feeling in a Mellow Mood their music fits the bill, lol. David Gates from the group went on to a solo career and had a couple of hits, one being "The Goodbye Girl" which was also the theme to the movie starring Richard Dreyfuss and Marsha Mason.
In the week of the Academy Awards, i post the theme from one of my fave romantic comedies of all time, the Oscar winning 'The Goodbye Girl' with Richard Drey...
