I just did it out of stress today.......

I woke up late for work because I was so depressed last night. As you all know how restricted my job is when it comes to the timing. I was 25 minutes late to top the cream layer. But then I just decided to take a day off by giving a notice for sick leave to my manager. I have never done this before. I emailed my manager that I am logging off from work as I am not able to go ahead due to my health issue. I am feeling extremely stressed out and I feel like I am getting hit by my panic attack today. Ofcourse, my job won't understand my depression issues so I had to make up something and I feel extremely stressed out for this as well. I think my day is going to be worst one today. So tired of the mess I am in right now.

I am feeling extremely pathetic at the moment. And I just feel like sleeping because I don't have to face myself. I feel I am into depression again. Because it has been a month I am not able to perform well.

I used to take “mental health” days off from teaching when needed. I never had an easy, non stressful job. I hope you are feeling better.

I would agree with Kristal, it is indeed a stressful job. Today I started my job well early on time. Though I am feeling stressed out I am still able to manage.

@kepweng My husband was a college professor and chairman of two departments. He was never stressed. I was a part time professor. You’re right!

In the situation you are it is better to be calm and composed. Don't loose heart cheer up and everything will be alright.

I am just trying to calm down myself today. I am finding it very hard because I am extremely restless and confused. If I will talk to anyone at the moment personally I would mess the conversation as well. Right now I am alone at home as always just not working today. Maybe I mylot all day. I may feel better that way.

I have a very bad habit of over thinking. I am so afraid of everything. When I am stressed I literally can't do anything. And I end up eating. Which is horrible.

@Archie0 ohh I see, that's really bad... I can't say stop because that's who you are. Eating is not really good as well. anyway, chocolate and ice cream and cake still are the best relaxant for me. Good luck.

I have to try to collect the pieces of my stress and fix myself. We are so so busy in mending our life that we forget we have scattered away. I feel very helpless today. Thank you for your kind words Muhammad. I hope you have a wonderful day or night.
