This is the book that I began to read last night. It seems like it will end up being a pretty quick read as I was drawn in from the very beginning of the book. It is set in 1897 where we follow the journey of Anna Denton. Anna is on her way to the Klondike (Alaska) where she will meet the man her father has sold her to, the man she is meant to marry. I'll leave a link to the synopsis for anyone who wants to read it. Eoin Dempsey is an Irish author.

Yes, I finished the first chapter in under ten minutes. I haven't read anymore because I need to set aside some time to just read.

I'll eventually write about what I think of the book. Reading is my main form of entertainment. I just wish there were more hours in the day to dedicate to it.

@LindaOHio have you considered listening to books instead? There is audible (expensive!) and Chirp (inexpensive) as well as just borrowing from the library.
