Do you know when to let go? Learning how to let go is not easy. I have been writing online for over ten years. Right now, I am at the point where I know, it is time to let go and move on to something new. I still have my blogs and novels, so my writing will not end. But, it's time for me to move on. All thing much come to and end.
It is time for a new phase in my life and time for me to let go of the writing sites that I have loved posting for. I do not really consider mylotting a writing site. It's a social site and I will still be here. But, it is time to put my energy and time into different things.
Do you know when to let go?

@whiteream When I received the last payment they said they are celebrating their 15 years online. I know no other writing site that is existing from so long.

No, I will never let go of mylot unless they leave and I do not see that happening at all. They are the only one that I know of that has been around for this long. I like the people here and enjoy just talking.

I love writing and I will never stop. It's just writing a different way. Many of the sites have dried up and gone away.

@aureliah I am glad to hear it. I do know some people who are still writing and doing very well with it.

Nothing is happening with the writing sites and things have changed so I must change with them.

So, if you are planning on letting these writing sites go, what will you do in their place? Do you have a game plan, or will you just figure it out as you go?
I agree with you, myLot is not a writing site, but a social site where friends can gather and talk to each other!

I will be working on my novels and my blogs, even more. I will be stopping in here from time to time. Plus, I am looking for full-time work. So, with all of that going on. I have been very busy.

@moffittjc Yes, I have but I do try to find some time to come here. Maybe, not as much as I would like to. I start missing everyone after a while.

I have been feeling the same way, it feels like it is time to move on and do something else. I have been working online for 10 years, trying different ways to make money. It is like any hobby or interest that you get bored with after that many years.

The good thing about writing is it can take on so many different forms.
