Good morning everyone. I hope you're doing amazing and I pray you know my very real Heavenly Father's love for you. He is a good Father!
The other day I called to make a dental appointment for my children. The receptionist that answered was also named Jennifer and she has the middle initial of L as I do. We found that out while making these. Lol.
It was her first week on the job. It took 40 minutes to set up the appointments for them. She kept apologizing for how long it was taking and I told her it's absolutely fine. We all are new at times and we all hope we get someone patient on the other end of the call. I told her she's doing a great job and kept encouraging her.
So I checked the mail yesterday as I do every day the truck stops and I got a beautiful card from Jennifer thanking me for being so kind and so patient! 
To me I was treating her the way I would want to be treated. To her it meant the world. Isn't it amazing how God works?! I will cherish the card as its a reminder how such a small gesture can make a HUGE impact on someone! 
If you need prayers I'd be so happy to pray for you!

That was nice of the other Jennifer.
I'm surprised your photo subjects wanted to sit on the ground in front of the kissing booth instead of stand behind it.

At the end of your post you said if anyone needs prayers, well my brother and I do. We lost Bella, our little dachshund last night. I won't go into details because I wrote a post about her and it's too hard to write it again. Please pray that God will give my brother and I the strength to get through this. Thank you so very much!

Little things mean a lot and I think you deserved that card. Most people would have been frustrated and said they would call back or lashed out. You were kind and were rewarded for it!

I'm sure it made a huge difference to her! That was very nice of you to be patient with her and encourage her. I always try to be the same way with people, especially when they're trying to learn a new job. I experienced the same thing yesterday morning on my way to work with I stopped at Dunkin' Donuts to get a breakfast sandwich and coffee. It was the first day for the girl working the register, and she had a rough time keying everything in. I just told her to take her time, I wasn't in a rush to go anywhere (although I was late for work, but I didn't let her know that). I just told her that she would be a pro at it by the end of her shift that day! I could tell she was very thankful I was being so patient with her.

Sometimes its hard to be patient but I'm glad you were great to her and she felt that, instead of the rude remarks I'm sure she got from others that same day.

That is incredible.
You must have been such a patient ray of sunshine in her dark day.
It can be challenging to learn a new job, and I am sure that once she has it mastered she will be able to draw on the interaction that she had with you and exhibit patience herself when its called for.
