Lauren Henderson who lives in Staunton Virginia is one happy dog owner who lost her pet dog Timber three years ago when he ran away from her home.
The way that Lauren was able to reunite her pet dog was when she went to work in Bath County Virginia which is one hour away from her home when she picked up a dog on the side of the road.
Lauren wanted to adopt the dog that was wandering on the road in Bath County when her boss told her that she should contact the Bath Welfare Animal Foundation officials to see if she could adopt the dog.
When Lauren looked up information on the website of the animal foundation, the likeness of her dog Timber appeared on the site as the star dog to be adopted for that month.
Lauren then made arrangements to reunite with her lost pet which was one very happy dog and owner reunion.
Lauren has promised herself to make sure that she will be more careful when she allows her dog to spend more quality time with her in the future.
I just love seeing dogs and their owners reunite after a period of time being apart from each other.

It is rare for an owner of an animal to find their lost dog on a road. Most of the time the animal is usually found in an animal shelter.

@Deepizzaguy I think you misread , she found another dog on the road and while trying to adopt that one she saw that her dog was at the shelter.

That is true since it is rare for an owner to find their lost pet on a road and find out it is their best friend for life.

It is true since some people will adopt the dog or send the pooch to an animal shelter.
