For The Love Of Cheese

I have no interest in sports. However, I know the Super Bowl is coming up. I usually put on a nice spread though. But, after what my roommates pulled on me for New Year's eve, I am only making one thing... taco salad.
I do need your skills though. We forgot to order shredded cheese on inventory. I bought cheese at Dollar Tree last night, but for the chili cook-off.
So, what to do with no cheese? I have American slices. I have Parmesan. Any advice?

Lay both out and let them choose. Or use a little of both.

Switch the taco salad to regular salad and let them choose the cheese.
I don't understand why you still can't get any cheese. Are you on an island or something?

How do I improvise with having no shredded cheese? I do not understand about having french bread.
