Playing Phone Tag

I received a message to call the agency I have been waiting to hear from. They called this morning and I missed the call because I was not able to get to the phone soon enough. When I tried to call them back it went to an automatic message machine.
I left my message but haven't heard a word from them. I called a couple of hours later and left another message, still no call back.
I have now reached the very impatient stage. I want a call back. How irritating is it to call and leave a message and not hear back.
Oh well, I will be he4re trying to not think about it and relax. Fat chance.

They probably have a ton of calls to return; and they might not listen to messages until the end of the day.

It is so annoying when companies don't call back. I hope you get your call soon.

An orthodontist service did that to us when my daughter was in a contract with them. They asked us to call them, yet they never replied back. It was so frustrated. In the end, we just walked to their clinic (a fair walk, but better than taking the car due to parking issue).
