West Midlands police officer Constable Carl Woodall who is the company of his German Shepherd partner Odin were at the right place at the right time this past weekend in the United Kingdom when he noticed that two gentlemen who were using flashlights to try to locate a missing wedding ring. One of the gentlemen told Constable Woodall that he and his wife got into an argument. In an act of anger, the gentleman yanked the wedding ring off of his wife's finger and through the ring out of the window of the auto that they were in driving on Harbourne Road in West Midland the day before. The gentleman who throw away the wedding ring on the side of the road immediately regretted his actions. After the police officer heard what happened, his partner Ofin used his powers of looking out for the missing wedding ring by using his sense of smell in the grass. Two minutes later, Odin found the missing wedding ring in the tall grass and the missing wedding ring was returned to his owner. Odin was rewarded by the gentleman by getting a pat on his head and a very special thanks. Constable Woodall and his partner then resumed their patrol being thankful that they were able to assist someone find a lost wedding ring.

I'm glad that Odin was able to locate the ring; but I question the intentions of the ring's owner. That was a foolish gesture!

It is a dumb gesture for the man to take the ring of his wife's daughter and throw it outside the car in a fit of anger.

Well, I tell you I am glad the ring was found but I would think twice before I put it back on after my partner was so very rude to me and did such a foolish thing

I agree with you since anyone who treats his or her partner in a rude manner needs a wake up call.

That's a very small item to find. You wouldn't think it would have very much smell on it.
