More of A Challenge Than I Thought

I have been sharing to the Kiki venue for a while, as many of you know.
I have done great there, in the sense of getting a lot of exposure and interest in my art, and I am earning there too. However, I am starting to think the redemption threshold is a little too high.
It's $75, which I'm taking longer than I expected to reach.
Honestly, if the threshold was kicked down by about $25 it wouldn't hurt my feelings any. Then again, maybe the fact that it's more challenging than I expected will make getting there feel that much sweeter?
Just thinking in print here.

The $75 does seem a bit of a lofty thing to reach. But I don't know much about the site or how it is set up. I'd be concerned there might be a scam behind it. But again, I know nothing about the site that would qualify me to make any judgement about it. Either way, glad to hear you are doing well there and I hope you do see that payout when you finally get there.

@porwest There's no scam going on Jim. I'm sure of that because others I know have redeemed many times there, my wife is there & has redeemed a couple times herself.
I am just annoyed, because reaching the 1st bit seemed fairly easy, and now the home stretch for the last bit is a royal pain.

@jnrdutton Well, I am glad it is not a scam. So many sites fell into that category in years past that one just becomes a bit suspect. Hope you get to your payout sooner rather than later.

Can you tell me more about the kiki venue? What kind of art do you do?

@Hannihar, Kiki is for all kinds of creators, writers, photographers, artists, and generally I really like their platform. The struggle to reach my 1st redemption though is still ongoing. You might do wonderfully there, if your interested in joining at least to try it out I say go for it. Anyway, back to your question of what kind of art I do, pretty much the same style & such as what I have shared here.

I do not tend to trust anything with such a high threshold. I wish you luck on this, and if it benefits you by getting exposure for your art then more the better.
Have you considered making a patreon page for your art instead?

@ScribbledAdNauseum I trust it because I have seen other people (including my wife Courtney) actually redeem there. I just need like about thirty more dollars to reach goal. The home stretch seems to be the hardest, lol.
Regarding Patreon, I had actually considered it, yes.

You'll be there before you know it. I've been wanting to write there; but I can't figure out what all the areas of the post mean...sliders, etc. I'm lost. They should give you instructions.

@LindaOHio It's less complicated than it appears.
When they say to include slides, it means images, I'd advise two images per post.
The images need to be yours, or if they are not yours they need to be free use/public domain/non-copyrighted. Places like Pixabay provide such images.
You just put the slides, then write your post (200-400 words or so is good)
then upload.
