I was advised by my doctor to have my water intake increased and refrain from carbonated and other sweetened beverages. He relates himself that once a person overcomes his liking to colas, he’d no longer be tempted to drink— not anymore like him. I may not at that stage but I tried my best to avoid it and followed the advice to drink more water to be safe.
I know that some of you had already given up this habit. You are lauded for maintaining a healthy lifestyle and making your health better.

Well I have not given up yet on sodas as well but I have already limited my intake of it already. Drastic as it may be, I remember when we were young we drank them like water as it is always included in every meal we have. But now, it is just occasional already.

@ZedSmart I do not know but my cravings for it has lessened already like when we were used to it that we look forward having them in every meal. But now its not as important anymore. I think my body since it is growing old those usual health issues are now showing up despite my lessening of the intake already. But I guess the symptoms might have been delayed since I slowed down already.

The doctor is a professional in the field so we should be following the prescription. I admit that I am stubborn when it comes to the prohibitions but we paid for the consultation so we might as well make good use of the doctor with his prescription.
