Sleep deprived, but it's worth it

Day six of babysitting the "boys" which include the grandson, Saint the Golden Retriever, and Jack the cat.
Landon's not a lot of trouble...does his homework, his daily chore of feeding the above mentioned pets, vacuuming the carpet (I can't believe how much that dog can shed), and bringing in the mail and taking out the garbage.
Yeah, I know. Poor little overworked youngin. Then he has a ton of electronics to play with.
Saint sleeps in the house and for several nights in a row, he has woke me up just enough to keep me awake the rest of the night.
And I get up at 5:30 to get Landon off to the school bus by 6:30.
Last night I wised up and shut my bedroom door. I slept a blissful seven hours, then came back in and slept two more hours!
Sure hope my nights of being sleep deprived are over for now.

We're under a severe weather threat right now, so I'll be glad when Landon's school bus gets here and we can stay inside.

They do keep me busy, but I love spending some time with my grandson. He lives seven hours from us and they grow up so fast.

We've never let our pets come inside, but my daughter wants their pets to go in and out. Saint's a beautiful dog, but he's so BIG and sheds all over.
