Good Friday Morning/Evening MyLotters!

I'm up early this morning and posting before I even get the coffee brewing. It's cold this morning with the temperature sitting at 31. It is supposed to warm up today to 60, 64 tomorrow and 72 on Sunday. That is something to look forward to, as well as seeing the sun shining!
I got caught up on several days of notifications yesterday and did a fair amount of reading of YOUR discussions. I plan on continuing that cycle again today. I just have to take care of the regular chores and cook a nice dinner for tonight. Hubby will be returning from another out of town trip. This should be the last bit of travel before he is free! (Retirement) He is down to only 5 working days after today.
I hope everyone has a nice and sunny day or a quiet evening. What are your plans today or what did you do today? I will be back later on this morning.

How exciting for your husband! I remember the day the letter came that I had qualified for disability and was retired. No special plans for today.

@LindaOHio I submit to Chicken Soup for the Soul every now and then. I think I have sold 6 stories to them so far. I started at Virily but it is very slow there in earning. You have to build your base of readers, but once established I think it will be okay. I didn't do much there in Dec. and nothing in January. I did submit a couple of things there today. So far that is it. I used to do one on one client work but haven't done that since I was working full time. I'll have to check those two sites out.

@kareng Do you write anywhere besides MyLot? I think I'm going to try Vocal or Kikiers; but I need a place to write REAL STUFF! :-)

You're having a chilly morning. It's 11 here and no wind chill. We're getting up to 27. So as you shiver with those temps, I know you're happy with your 31 and hope it warms up quickly for you.
That's great his retirement is five days away. Enjoy your coffee.

@kareng It looks like they changed the forecast. We weren't supposed to get snow today. It should be snowing soon from the look of things and will be through all day tomorrow.
My mind is on Saturday. And thought they got the forecast wrong. It's supposed to snow today, but not much.

@DocAndersen I hope you didn't have any damage! We had high winds all day today but no rain. The system went north of us. The weather guys have been so wrong with weather this year.

@kareng it is past us now, it was pretty bad. It was daylight and then night and the tornado blew through!
