Some good rest and home remedies...

In my previous post I talked about my bad throat that made me feel sick. A good rest and some home remedies helped me get over it and now I do not feel it any more.
I drank home made kadha ( made by boiling ginger, basil leaves, black pepper) a few times in the day and gargled with lukewarm salt water. And for rest I napped almost for 4-5 hours in three shifts in the day.
And now I am fresh.
But all this rest has made me energetic in this late night
. I need to sleep in time as I have to go for seminar tomorrow and leave the house by 8:30. Well I have a two day seminar and that will keep me busy this weekend. It is a whole day (9AM to 5 PM) seminar and that will keep me away from online world for these two days. So I might be totally gone from here or just peep in when I have some break there.
I am looking forward to a great seminar. All the speakers are good ones and also the topics are too good. A certificate from there at the end of the seminar would definitely add up to my resume
So till I get the sleep I will try to mylot as much as I can. I am not going to fall asleep after all day napping.

And now I am fresh.

It is nice to attend seminars. I suppose everything went well. I fall asleep the moment I hit the bed, tired or not. The ginger, pepper, cumin seeds, and jaggery decoction is quite famous in Kerala. We call it Jeeraga Kashayam. It works well for colds and chest congestion.
The Puli Inji is a similar recipe. It is a ginger - tamarind concoction and it helps digestion.

I have to keep attending such workshops and seminars to keep myself updated for my profession. And it was a good one. I used them same things for my kadha. I skipped jaggery as I am diabetic. But when I make it for my daughters I add jaggery.
Good to know about Puli Injli. I will note it down. Thanks for sharing.
I am same like you. I sleep like a baby. Sometimes I don't need to go to bed, bed comes to me. I can doze off anywhere once it's my bedtime

I could attend the seminar in good health. Home remedies helped. It was seminar for educators and parents( very few came) and covered a few good topics related to education. It was quite good.

I need this remedy. I am wearing a surgical mask now because I have an itchy throat. I thought it is a cough but it is not.

Oh! Better to go to doctor so that you come to right diagnosis and treatment.
We boil grated ginger, crushed black paper, tulsi( Basil leaves). Boil on sim flame. Till water reduces to half. Then filter/ not filter and drink the juice a couple of times. Drinking it lukewarm is more effective.
