It Was a Bright Day and High Tide

Yes, indeed. I woke up this morning with a bright sun shining at my window. It was a good day for a walk again. I was bonding with my friends this Friday afternoon. We had eaten Filipino food (I forgot the name) and Bilo-bilo snack before we went walking at the Rhine. The Rhine was not empty today. Plenty of walkers, which was expected for this kind of day. It was the first time I have seen the Rhine river at high tide. Unusual view of broken branches are on the bank of the river, dirty as well. My friends and I were enjoying the walk. We went home when we were tired. We were able to see the beautiful sunset at the Rhine. How was your Friday? I hope it was a great one. Thank you for reading. Enjoy your weekend.

Yes, we had a nice day here @Alexandoy. When the weather is sunny, we walk to enjoy the brightness of the day even if it is freezing cold. It was still good walk.

I saw the Rhine when we were in Germany. It was spritzing and spraying. I forgot what area we were in. We also took a lovely boat ride. I’m so glad you can walk along it anytime you can. Enjoy the rest of your evening!

@rakski Yes, it overflows. The water from the Rhine overflows to the water of the lake that was nearby the Rhine.

Yes, it is the Rhine river. The Rhine river starts in Switzerland, going to Germany and to the Netherlands. This part is the one almost near to the Netherlands. Yes, it was a nice walk. Thank you @much2say

That was one river that I wanted to see before we came home, but ran out of time. Great excuse to go back. Two weeks just wasn't long enough!! Still so much I wanted to check out!!

It is only now that it is dirty because of some branches and woods that were carried away by the water when some boats passed by the Rhine going to the Netherlands and back to Germany. Normally, the Rhine is clean but not this time.

Not as exciting as witnessing the sunset. I was working(indoor) the whole day as usual but it was productive so I guess that’s a different kind of beautiful.

That is good to be productive inside the house @MGjhaud. We have seldom sunshine here during winter that when the sun shines, many people go out sunbathing their faces. We need Vitamin D.
