Retailer or not?

In this world there are retailer men and others who do not, many men in their first dates and contacts tend to be very affectionate, attentive, thoughtful, always pending of the other person and this makes the woman who receives this feel flattered, elevated, feel important, but what happens after that first date hahaha comes the reality for some who dedicated themselves to exaggerate in details and then can not keep up or get used to women, I think the man should be a retailer not only of gifts but In fact, these are the most important to receive flowers or chocolates to say something, the important thing is that love does not depend on whether you give more or less gifts to your loved one or the quality or price of these. It will help you a lot to rekindle your relationship at certain times. What do you think about this?

I don't care for flowers or chocolates at this point. What I want to know is if my partner is in love with me, faithful to me and enjoy spending time to be with me.

@Aleskys What is very important that the two should be honest with each other.

Pardon me but I cannot understand retailer in the way you use. To us here, retailer means a store that sells goods in retail like one piece of one item.

If I understand you alex, it's not the word I wanted to use was the translator, I mean the man conquers with gifts and not with facts.

I think I get your point here, but you are using the retailer wrong. IF I get what you are saying, I think people should be themselves from day one and not try to sell a bill of goods.

@Aleskys Maybe the word you were looking for was honest or genuine? In THAT context you would be saying that a man should be true and be real instead of trying to pretend to be something he is not just to get the girl, only to revert back to who he really is AFTER he's got her.

If it is the wrong word that the translator gives me and even if I use another word, it also loses the meaning of what I really wanted to express
