Not all the love songs on the rock side of this countdown of favorites with “love” in the title are rock, but what else could I call this? “Rock, punk, R&B, pop, and anything else that isn’t country”? Sledge was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005. I haven’t checked, but he’d better be in the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. What. A. Voice.
