New Football League - XFL

Not sure if many of you heard about this new American football league or not. This weekend the new XFL started and there were 4 games that were on TV. Two on Saturday and two on Sunday. I was able to catch a little of each game, and it was fairly entertaining. The rules are a bit different to keep the game moving and promote scoring in the game. I watched the first game on Saturday and I was happy that the game was over in about 2 hours. Unlike the NFL that takes well over 3 hours to watch a game I was very happy that this was about 2 hours. The games were pretty good and the skill level of the players were pretty good. The rules will take a little getting use to but over all it pretty much the same as the NFL. The thing that I liked about it the most is it took only 2 hours to watch the game. The halftime is only 10 minutes long and they are back to playing again. There were not nearly as many replays since teams can not call for a review of the play, only the officials can. The review seemed to take a lot less time than the NFL. I just might have to start watching this XFL league. Did you happen to see it at all?
