Not a review of the Oscars!

No matter what you may think of Jane Fonda's politics there is no denying her excellent talent and, as she showed last night at the Oscars at 82 years old she is still a stunner! Okay, she has put on a little weight since 2014 but if you didn't see those pictures side by side you wouldn't even notice it!
She is currently starring in the 7th season of "Grace and Frankie" and 'lets it all hang out' without any shame and shows nothing to be ashamed about. I still haven't, and probably never will forgive Ted Turner for making her give up 11 years of movie-making when she could have done justice to roles that others were doing! (But that's another post because Jane always did what her husband(s) wanted her to do and for a strong woman that was always shocking.)
If you haven't seen "Grace and Frankie" be sure to see it and watch what professionals like Fonda and Lily Tomlin, in their 80s, can do and still teach the youngsters!

I think she looks fine--most human beings put on weight when they get old and she seems to have it under control!

@GreatMartin I never said that she is FAT, I said that she gained some weight, that is unusual because after the 80 people tend to get thinner.

I have watched it since the 1960s every year and taping them and every year at the end I ask myself why I wasted 3-4 hours of my life---and I will watch them again next year.
I did stop taping them and I gave all my Oscar and Tony award tapes to a high school here that trains actors, singers and dancers and they loved them!

@db20747 Jane said in 2014 that she was never going to buy another piece of clothing--just one way to help not pile up the land fills--most 'stars' are now wearing the same dress one more than once and I applaud them--plus how many would have seen that dress before?
