Sum up the day.....

A day off on Wednesday always comes as a good mid week break and who doesn't love it. I could be online for good two hours. But more than mylot I spent some time on two other survey sites. It was a good day for surveys and I made around $3 there. I have requested payment from one of them and should be getting it soon. I wanted to visit few more sites that I have not visited in months but could not. Husband was working from home and so he often came down to chit chat. Now I am here at my daughters music class. I have two hours of waiting here. First one hour would be for mylotting and next one for some exercise... Walking and stretching in the nearby park. I got a call from my friend who owns the Montessori school where I worked earlier. Seems they have a child who can not be understood by parents and teachers. She wants me to assess the child and make a program for him. I have agreed to help. I don't come to any conclusion till I have observed the child for a good number of days. At least 10 hours. Tagging a child with label in a day or two is not my way. I avoid the labels. I just put the difficulties and suggest ways to overcome it. So that means I need to go to that school for at least 5_10 days. That school is not so far but now a days traffic is too bad that side. That was my reason to leave the place as it was taking a toll on my health to travel that much. And in last two years after leaving that school, I continued taking parents workshops and teachers workshop there. I go there once in a month in late afternoon mainly on Saturday for all these work. So on Thursday and Friday, I would go there for some time after my work and while coming back pick my daughter on way. It would be long working hours and definitely a lot more in traffic. Keeping my fingers crossed that traffic is not that bad. Next week I will go there on alternate days. Hope these days should be enough for me to observe the child and draw some conclusion. I might not be much active here.

When I was working, I have to day off in the midweek, Tuesday and Thursday. That made my work load easier.

When I joined this school in June last year, they gave me an off on Wednesday but then with change in role and responsibility after Christmas break that stopped.

@amitkokiladitya Parents are in complete denial of the situation. First I need to prepare my assessment and then meet them. They live far from my place. It will be tough. I can suggest therapist on their side of city. I know quite a few

Can't see that as a work opportunity. I can't travel in that traffic though the distance is less but it takes more than an hour one way. I just want to help the child. These kind of children are so close to my heart. I just want to reach and help them.

I hope you are able to help this child without taking too large a toll on yourself.

Today I observed him for first day and he seemed really challenging. Hope to come up with a program for him after my observation and assessment.

Just take your time, my friend. Offline stuff is always a priority... Good that you've got luck on a survey...

Generally I am not so lucky with surveys. It's just one of those days.
