Yesterday was what a lot of people who plan vacations would call “boring.” Yes, it was boring....but beautiful!!! What did I do yesterday? I walked! Over four miles, according to my pedometer in the phone. I spent the night near Fernandina Beach (home of the 2015 and 2020 Putt Putt National Tournaments), and I began the morning with a stroll along the river and the historical district. The weather was perfect for it: mid-60s, nice breeze, simply gorgeous....nothing like the weather I escaped back home. When I got to Fernandina Beach I walked some more. I visited the Putt Putt and enjoyed the gorgeous scenery. (The course is quite literally next to the beach; so, as I told my putting coach, it’s one place you would never mind having to wait an hour between rounds!) I took a picture of the A1A sign for my fellow Parrotheads (it’s a Jimmy Buffett thing ), then drove down A1A to St. Augustine. I mentioned yesterday having lunch at the “Caddyshack” restaurant that Bill Murray and his five brothers started. By the time I’d finished that and looking at all the autographs etched in the sidewalk from the Golf Hall of Fame members....my back was too tight to visit the Golf Hall of Fame. So I drove on down to the top of the Keys (I’m in Florida City), enjoying the warmth, the scenery, and another gorgeous sunset. What’s up for today? It may be boring but it’ll be beautiful. And I’m having a blast, living in the moment.

It's never boring because you are seeing sights and scenery for the first time or not in a long while. There's always something interesting if you "look."

Exactly. Sitting by the ocean is far better to me than zip lining.
