I wonder if the site sponsored by the UN sends rice to people that need it. I used to spend a lot of time playing there, hoping to go from 5 grains of rice to 10. But lately I am not as naive. II see so much violence in the world and some children live all their childhood in places where nobody would let an animal stay. Then they turn into terrorists (no wonder, I say). I have lived all my life with enough food, enough health and enough education. I look at Luna, my dog, and she has more than many children in the world. Free rice is not enough. What can we do for them? Freerice Account Migration Site

There is so much poverty in the world that it would be impossible to help everyone. Pick a favorite charity and do what you can.

I liked free rice because it is a site online where you play, learn and donate for each right answer. As for money, I donate to a place here where they treat children with cancer. The treatment is helped by the government but the children need toys while in chemo.

I remember that freerice site and played it for a while. Bill Gates is now spending $73 million on some super yacht. How many children would that feed? I know he is quite generous in some ways but honestly.....

The amount $73 million escapes me. But I do know that Bill Gates, probably the richest man in the world, has given lots of money in many countries.
