An astronaut becomes stranded on Mars after his team assume him dead, and must rely on his intelligence as a botanist to find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive.
I saw this movie when it first came out in 2015. Matt Damon is a great actor. And many other good actors are in this one as well.
I enjoyed the movie. So I watched again last night. I had forgotten some of the things he did to actually survive on Mars.
I would recommend this movie to everyone.
Directed by Ridley Scott. With Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mara. An astronaut becomes stranded on Mars after his team assume him dead, and must rely on his ingenuity to find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive.

Definitely a movie I would watch again. Saw it in the theater when it came out and really enjoyed it. Very cool how he figured out how to survive on that planet. Who knew potatoes were so adaptable.
