This story is so amazing since a World War II veteran who served 35 years with the United States Marine Corps before he retired would be showered with around 70,000 cards from well wishers around the globe on Valentine's Day 2020.
William White who is 104 years young is now living in an assistance living home in Stockton California had the pleasure of having someone in the facility to go on social media to ask for anyone to send the World War II veteran who is one of the few soldiers in that era who is still alive.
The assisted facility expected to receive at least 100 well wishing cards for the veteran who is nicknamed "Major Bill". William who amazed that on Valentine's Day, the facility received 70,000 cards to thank him for his military service.
William who was married to his wife for 42 years before she passed away is overwhelmed with the response from well wishers around the world.
Who says that our brave men and women who served in the military are not loved by the people whose lives they touched?

That is very true since most World War II veterans have passed away in recent years due to old age.

That is true since the assisted living center admitted that they received more well wishes for Major Bill that they expected which made it sweeter for Bill to feel appreciated for his service,
