Warpo, The Amazing OR Mardi Gras Continued

Warpo is a street performer in New Orleans' Jackson Square; has been since 1984. He entertains visitors to the Big Easy as a street magician. Before it was announced that Warpo the Amazing would be the Krewe of Fools' ( a walking krewe that promotes, preserves and protects the art of street performance in New Orleans)10th king. He is a true and tireless advocate for the rights of street performers. He will be coronated in a ceremony on Lundi Gras which will be held on February 24th, 2020.

Yes, I believe I have heard of him! 
I have never seen him live though, but I have seen many other street musicians in Jackson Square and along such roads as Canal Street.
One of my earliest memories is my dad holding me up at a Mardi Gras parade (we're originally from New Orleans). I am in North Carolina right now, but will still celebrate with red beans and rice and baking Haydel's king cake recipe, as always.
