I really like the way that the owner of the Roseville Cab Company Rajbir Singh cares for the welfare for his customer who is an elderly lady of 92 years of age that could have lost her life savings due to her lack of knowledge of dealing with a scam artist.
What happened what the elderly lady received a phone call from someone who claimed to work for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) who asked for $25,000 dollars.
What I know about the IRS works is that their agents never ask for money over the telephone. They send their customers a letter in the mail to ask for payment of money owed to the government.
The good thing was that Rajbir is smart enough to trust his hunches that his passenger was about to be robbed of her life savings when he asked her if she knew the caller personally.
When the elderly lady answered "No." Rajbir then took her to the local police station to report the incident.
Two police officers were able to convince her that she was about to be ripped off by a scam artist.
Rajbir was awarded with a $50 gift card from the Roseville Police and he is in line to receive a special award for assisting a customer who could have lost her life savings by going to her bank and withdraw her life savings.
I just wish that all cab drivers would be like Rajbir to nip possible criminal acts in the bud.

The police were able to end his scam work since they have notified all law enforcement officers to arrest him as soon as possible if and when they locate him and his assistants for fraud.

Thank goodness they were able to convince the woman not to send the money! I'm glad Rajibir was given a gift card for his efforts.

Wow. I love heartwarming stories of good people. It gives hope ... there's so much bad happening in this world. I'm convinced there are still more good people like the cab company owner in our world. Thankfully he took matters in his hands and saved this woman from being scammed. I love your stories.

It is a shame that a scam artist would prey after senior citizens posing as an IRS agent.
