Do you know how to take BP?

While I'm taking a bath someone is calling my name. I thought there is a xerox customer. I look out and it is my aunt calling me telling me to come to their house and I take her BP or blood pressure. She don't usually do that so I think there must be a problem. She said she thinks their digital BP monitor is not functioning right. So I take our aneroid blood pressure monitor. I really find it hard to use it and all I remember from my other aunt is to listen when you first heard the heartbeat and when you last heard the heart beat. So I squeeze the rubber bulb up to 200 and then release the air. The heart beat starts beating right away so I got a reading of 180/100. She said her digital BP monitor also shows 180. So her BP is really high. She has hypertension. I told her not to panic and just relax. It seems that there is no problem with their BP monitor. She really has a high BP. I will check her tomorrow and find out if her BP improves by tomorrow morning.
