This is the first time a short trip seemed long

I think because of all the walking we did on the ship even if we didn't go on any fun excursions. I'm not saying it was too long but that it was sufficient to do the things we did. Matt times a vacation is just to short and possibly because we don't pack or on with activities. I don't really know. I didn't attend any shows, not did i lay out on the deck chairs. Head they not had the air running constantly that would have been easier but in the one morning I wore one outfit and is would needed to change to get some sun and then change again for the nation meal. The trip days most paid ahead for excursions i though a few of us were going to the beach. Neither were working walking distance but I found that out after the fact. Three were five of us that went off the boat to check out more shops but I was prepared for a swim since I thought that's what we were doing. Instead I found some dresses for my daughter to give the girls standing up in her wedding. I'm hoping they bless her. They can be when as dresses it possible beach coverups. The rest of our days we stayed in the ship, eating and napping some along with talking to new and old friends. I'm back to work tomorrow, Friday.

I'm glad you took your cruise when you did, because I have a weird feeling that before long cruises are going to be shut down because of the coronavirus. It could cripple the cruise industry if this epidemic is not contained soon. Actually, it could hurt all forms of travel and tourism if it gets bad enough.

@MarshaMusselman I just read yesterday that there is a new case of the virus in the the US, where the person didn't travel anywhere, and didn't come into contact with any high-risk groups. They're basically scratching their heads wondering how the person caught the virus. So I guess it can already be everywhere right now and we just don't know it yet.

@moffittjc they were in contact with someone in sure they just don't know it. Maybe some will be carriers? Even so I'm not worried about it otherwise I'd have to quit my job since there are so many unknowns there already.

That is certainly true. There may also need to be some precautionary measure that track a person's travels if only temporary because here at least your only tell a hospital if you've been out of the country. We live in an area that has many asians working and going to school. But, interestingly enough there's no epidemic here even then. After being on the ship with limited internet and time passing it's the virus still as rampant as it was at the outset or are asians using more caution allowing with other travels too? The ship has everyone fill out a form starting they weren't in China or other places affected before boarding but who's to say how honest everyone is? The only option I see it's too trust God by way of jesus to keep the virus away from affecting us.

Do you need time to rest after your vacation? Sometimes people need recovery time on vacation trips!

I worked the next afternoon. My vacation w days were Allie used up by then. Had i been working part-time i could have asked for an additional day or days off but the short cruise was enough for me for now.
