In Kosgoda Turtle hatchery in Sri Lanka there was huge effort in restoring turtles after Tsunami.

The Turtle hatchery in Sri Lanka is a landmark hatchery where turtles are propagated. During tsunami some years back the entire hatchery got washed away. Thereafter the entire hatchery was restored. The small turtles are kept in favourable habitat and efforts are made to prevent them from being eaten away by predator near the sea beaches.
