A fundraiser in North Carolina for a young boy who needed a power chair

I really like what the people of Hendersonville North Carolina have done to ease the pain of 13 year old Javon Clark who is suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) that has affected his ability to walk. Javon who was diagnosed with DMD since he was eight years of age, did not have a power chair to move around which made it hard for him and his family to travel in their city. A barbecue sales rally was held on Saturday to raise sales for Javon to get a power driven chair to assist him to get around with his family on errands. The money raised from the barbecue sales will be going to the Jett Foundation which is going to use the funds to find a cure for the illness and be able to have more of their patients to be able to use a power driven chair to assist them to get around. Jessica Campbell who is the mother of Javon is thankful that her community as well as the Jett Foundation are doing what they can to find a cure for her son who is battling his current illness.
