Lent rolls in on a Wednesday

Today is Ash Wednesday. Are you doing something for Lent? I usually do something positive instead of giving something up, but this year I'm giving up time on a couple of games and websites that are not conducive to good spiritual growth and spending that time on positive interactions (such as myLot) and contributions instead. I plan to make sure I spend time reading Scripture both morning and evening instead of just morning. I'll let you know how it goes!

I give up all the site was working and now I work only here .it has given me a great peace of mind

That makes sense. I have had a very peaceful day in terms of not doing earning sites. I think it is helping with my priorities!

We don't have this here, but me as a Christian maybe I will give a little penitence such as no soda until next month.

No soda, oh my! Actually that might be good for your body too! One year I gave up milk tea and it was so hard, but I like sugar in my milk tea and by the time Lent was over I didn't crave it. Now I still make milk tea but with no sugar and it's fine.

Lol, that's probably illegal... but I might have some too. I had a galette on Shrove Tuesday simply because a friend had made some and gave me a couple.
