Missing in Action

I missed you all and hope all is right in your world. Sometimes the stars line up perfectly, and they did for us. We flew up north to see our kids and grandkids late Sunday.

We also got to visit our house and watch as the tree service we hired in October finally had the time to take down several trees. We wanted the one removed in my rock garden, too, because that is where our precious Doodles the cat and his sister, Kuma, were laid to rest. We didn’t want that tree falling on their graves or hitting our addition. It was so wonderful seeing our family, visiting the kitties, and knowing our house is still standing! The weather was mild, but not as fabulous as that in Florida. I do not like bare naked trees. We arrived back in Florida late last night.

Thanks so much! It was sooooo good seeing the family. We needed our fix. lol That’s exactly why we had ours taken down, except for that leaner in the rock garden. It needed to go. Never ends with those trees.

There you are! How nice you got to spend time with family

and check in on your house! Just as I'm reading this, the guy next door is having his one big tree serviced - very noisy this morning. Welcome back to sunny Florida!

Thanks! We got a “miss them so much” attack, that we had to see them. The noise is awful, but worth it to have some monster trees removed.

@LindaOHio I only know we leave Florida in June for certain. These last two trips north were spur of the moment ones. I hope your trip comes to fruition.

If you belong to AAA, they can plan routes, hotels, and interesting sightseeing stops for you.

I'm pretty sentimental about where pets are buried. I try to take care of that area as best as possible.

It was awesome to see them again. We miss them all the time, so these short visits work out well. Everyone is so busy all the time, that it was nice of them to make time for us.
