Going to stock up on food over the next 2 days

Normally I just do 1 shop at the end of each week but I have to haul the bags up to the 3rd floor and I try to do it all in one trip. Yes I am happy to go to the gym several times a week and push my body to the limit but I refuse to do 2 flights of stairs twice in a row.
Anyway I want to get some non-perishable items like pasta, crushed tomatoes, rice, tuna, chicken broth, etc. They are talking about "social distancing" in the news which means working from home, cancelling public events, closing schools, etc. I have *some* stuff here but not enough that would make me feel comfortable if I had to stay inside for 2 or 3 weeks.
So I'm going to shop tomorrow and Friday. Hey maybe even Saturday. If they are non-perishables then they will last and won't go bad so it wouldn't be a waste of money.
I am pretty good on hoursehold supplies like toilet paper, personal care items, towels, laundry detergent, etc. I might need to get some more garbage bags but that is about it.
Is anyone else thinking about stocking up on supplies due to coronavirus?

Yes, I've been considering doing that myself. We do have some canned goods, but I want to get more of them. Especially as people might start panicking and shelves will empty out. I've also considered what frozen goods I can get. I've considered making a big pot of soup and making sure it can get eaten over a few days.
Trump is talking at the moment about the virus. I'm barely paying attention, but he seems to think that the virus is somehow comparable to the flu.

@NJChicaa I was scrolling through youtube the other day.. I can't remember which channel it was, but some channel was theorizing that he (meaning Trump) was on Heroin.

@NJChicaa He's being surprisingly well to talk out of his behind at the moment atleast. I haven't detected much slurring.

My husband is a food hoarder; so we always have enough food in the house.
