I have started my seeds indoors for spring planting. Mostly I start perennial seeds as they take longer to mature. I will also start tomatoes soon. Most other vegetables I plant directly in the ground. My favorite annuals like petunias and pansies are started indoors too so I have blooms in spring.
Photo is of my petunia seedlings.
Do you have a garden? Do you start seeds indoors?

I hve given most of my garden to Luna. So I´m planting my seeds in containers. II ate arugula all summer. Now, in the same container, I planted marigold seeds. They are just coming out.

I also like planting in containers. I also enjoy eating fresh vegetables from the garden like Arugula and swiss chard.

I guess most gardeners prefer to purchase plants that have already been seeded and blooming. I used to at one time.

Starting seeds indoors satisfies my need for green during the dark winter months.
