Spring Forward March 8

Hard to believe it is almost Daylight Savings time change again. Most of us here in the United States will spring forward a hour in time this coming Saturday night when go to bed or when we get up Sunday morning giving us added daylight at the end of each day rather than in the morning, With the change coming on March 8th the 2nd Sunday in March it is the earliest date for Daylight Savings time to happened and because of it being Leap Year when the time changes back (if it does as they are discussing keeping the whole country on daylight savings time always) the first Sunday in November will be the earliest that the clocks are put back as the time change always happens on the first Sunday of November. This gives us one of the shortest periods of daylight savings time while next year will be one of the longest, But I am hoping Congress will decide to not change time again after this spring forward.

I think we all wish DST would be abolished.

Our state has given up on daylight saving but the Eastern states still have it.

@Elizaby You are right it it early there that you change your clocks. We change ours here in Israel early on March 29th or Saturday night before bed by turning them one hour ahead. Is Congress thinking of not changing the clocks again and leaving it at the hour ahead time?

It would be wonderful if we could keep time the same year-round.
