The Sound of Music A pleasant distraction / myLot

I had planned for a busy day of houswork, sewing and crafts. But sadly it was not to be. While flipping through the TV channels I came upon The Sound of Music and could not resist for the 50th time I am sure. The Sound of Music is not a movie I can just listen to or watch casually, I have to give it my full attention. After all these years it still invokes the same feelings and emotions I had the first time I saw it, all of which are good and a pleasant distraction. How did you spend your Sunday and weekend? My Sunday was pretty good. I read some of my book. Saturday I went shopping with my best friend. I have seen parts of that movie, but not all of it.

It is such a long movie that you really have to be able to sit for about 3 hours to watch the whole movie.

I have had a lot of good things in good reviews about this movie but I haven't managed to watch it yet. I wish to watch this movie with my family and see how well the performance of the actors are.
