A year of dinners 2.2.2020 : Mish mash of meals.

We had errands to run last night and the hamburger hadn't defrosted in time for me to make meatloaf which was the plan for yesterday. I keep a few Michallenas frozen meals for nights like that, and utilized one last night for she child for the first time in forever. I try not to use them often because if you know me you know that I would rather cook then just heat something up. However last night cooking just wasnt in the scope of possible things. She child goes to bed two hours before her brother on weekdays, and usually she asks to go to bed by 9 on weekends. So she ate before the rest of us. She had the popcorn chicken and smiley potatoes for dinner. She was excited for the emoji fries as she called them. She was already in bed by the time the rest of us ate. I used little smokies and crescent rolls and made pigs in a blanket. To go with that I made garlic cheesey mashed potatoes. It was easy and semi quick. Tonight were back to me actually cooking, and I think I'll enlist the kids to help. So stay tuned tomorrow for that post. What did you have last night?
