A really great way to bond with the family is to make some tasty baked treats from scratch. Here another at home baking is us having our spin of the infamous Coconut Macaroons.
This is a typical Filipino baked treat that was widely influenced by Western Baking...
Basically Macaroons is a small biscuit or cookie typically made from ground almonds, coconut or other nuts, with sugar and condensed milk.
Here in the Philippines, Coconut is widely available anywhere and any season so it's the most used as the base for this treat. Coconut Macaroons are chewy and makes use of shredded coconut or desiccated coconuts.
Have you tried Macaroons? What's your favorite baked dessert?

It's been a long time since I had bought macaroons. I seldom bake because it's not my line.

@StyleWithSense you are right, the cassava cake is a pudding which means there is no flour. I have no experience in baking with flour.

Those macaroons certainly look delicious and I love macaroon even though I don't make them very often
My favorite baked dessert would probably be apple pie

Good question! Unfortunately they are not the same kind. A Macaroon is coconut based, while a Macaron is meringue based. Thanks for responding!
