Dreams come true!

Some of you may know that I am a fan of the football(soccer) team, Bayern Munich. I am not German, I live in Transylvania, which is far away from Munich.
But when I was 8 I fell in love with this team and now, 22 years later, I am supporting them as much as I did when I was a kid.
I always dreamed of seeing them in the stadium, but back then it was expensive to get to Germany and also needed a lot of paperwork.
In 2007, my dream was partially fulfilled, when they came to play a Champions League game in Bucharest. 3 years later, they were playing even closer to me, in Kolozsvar(Cluj).
In 2016, however, my childhood dream came true, I was in Munich, in the Allianz Arena, at a home game of my beloved team. And in 4 years, I was 5 times there. I still get emotional when I think about these occasions. A month ago I was there for the fifth time.
Did you have childhood dreams you have fulfilled?

What a great photo! That's so neat - and your support for the team sounds stronger than ever!
I was a roller skating kid - and wanted to be a roller skating star 
. That never happened. But in my mid 20s, I got into figure skating (on ice) - and I eventually trained, competed, and performed . . . not exactly a skating star but I got way further in the sport than I ever thought I could. Being close enough made me feel fulfilled

That is enough. My ultimate dream would have been to become a football player, but had no physical skills needed to become one and I didn't push my limits, neither.

@rappeter13 Did you ever play football - even just for fun? Here they have adult leagues . .. not the same as kiddos trying to climb up the ladder to become a one day pro . . . so it's all about fun (and most sports about adult safety - I think they have flag football - no tackling).

It's good for you you're able to fulfill your dreams. I have forgotten all my childhood dreams and what really are those I've longed to see except becoming a manager of a company. Most of the organizations I've worked with I would always find myself among the team leading the group.

Being a leader is a great thing! I always wanted to be a leader, and I managed to be in top group also, always. In the school, in high school, in the University and now at my work, too.

@florelway I try to lead by example. I rarely demand something from somebody, I just ask them kindly to do something or give them advice.

I am not a Bayern Fan,and it's really rare to see a fan of soccer in Mylot.But i think Bayern can defeat Chelsea in UEFA Champion League.and i wish Bayern can be the Champion in UEFA Champion League.it's the time that Bayern rises and stands at the peak of the whole Europe

That's great that you've now seen your team play five times. My childhood dream was to see the Lippizaner horses in Vienna. I've now seen a summer and winter performance and been out to where the stallions spend their summer break.
