Growing up, my Mom would make boiled peanuts fairly often. She would boil green peanuts, add salt and nothing else. And I still do this from time to time.
I found a good brand of boiled peanuts in a can. I know what some will say. But when I only eat small amounts at a time, I try to find easy foods to eat.
These cans were three cans for $1.00. And there are many flavors. I never knew so many flavors were available in boiled peanuts.
I usually buy the plain, salted peanuts. Last week I saw these salt and vinegar flavored, limited time peanuts. So I got two cans to try. They are delicious. I like the salt and vinegar flavor.
Do you like boiled peanuts? I also roast them in the oven sometimes as well.

@much2say You take green peanuts and boil them in water and salt. This can has the salt and vinegar flavor. And a small amount of water added. No, they are not dry, these are very soft. The dry ones are roasted.

I love peanuts sugared, fried, and baked, but I never learned to like them boiled.

@CarolDM I just fry peanuts or pecans in a little oil until done and sprinkle with salt.

My mom would boil peanuts when I was a kid. But these days, they do not do that anymore for fear of arthritis. They believe peanuts trigger arthritis pain. I like fried peanuts.

When I first tried them may years ago, I couldn't stand them..but they are good in like a cajun stew or something. There is a place here that makes them lie that.they just taste like garbanzo beans.

@CarolDM I don't think I would eat them like a snack, but I have seen cans of them in the store.
