Continuing onward with my music trivia series of heartfelt tunes. And although Valentine's Day has passed, this trivia quiz will carry on until the flowers bloom in spring. So, let's take a look at some additional heart-titled songs to solve. Here we go.... "You're a heartbreaker, Dream maker, a love taker, Don't you mess around with me." Wise words from Pat Benatar the artist who sang this tune and knew this guy was trouble. Yes, love can become so overpowering with passion it can definitely lead to heartbreak if the other person's heart is not in the right place. Alright , let's listen to the video "Heartbreaker" as Pat sucumbs to her lover's charms... Hope you enjoyed that song and now with our video tune done it's that time again. Time to solve today's mystery trivia songs and solo artists... Whodunnit? Do You Know The Answers? 1. This song is about a couple with a complicated relationship. She wants to get rid of him, but he has a hold on her heart. When she explains this situation is becoming a real drag, the lover says that without him there would be nobody to look out for her. In the Rock/Pop world this female artist has some lofty credentials. She has been inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame as a member of a band and as a solo artist. This particular song was done as a duet with a famous Rock n' Roller"s band, and the tune charted at #3, making it the biggest (solo) hit for this singer and the group. You might know this performer from other solo hits she has had, like "Leather and Lace." and "Edge of Seventeen." 2. This heartbreak song was the first Top 40 Hit for this muscian as a solo artist. He later came out with another "Heart" song, which scored big on the charts reaching #1. Today's mystery song was one of many acoustic tracks on the album. It was released after his breakup from Crosby, Stills and Nash, following their Deja Vu tour. He was also a member of Buffalo Springfield, a band who had a major influence on the Country Rock genre. His album "Harvest," was a huge success, reaching #1 on the charts and featuring that #1 song I mentioned earlier in the clues. This artists distorted guitar playing, especially with his backing band Crazy Horse, has earned him the nickname in the music business as the "Godfather of Grunge." Bonus- Pat Benatar has recorded many popular songs which became Top 40 hits including today's video "Heartbreaker," along with "Love Is A Battlefield", and "We Belong." When MTV arrived in 1980, Benatar had the honor of becoming the first female artist to have one of her songs played on the video music network. 3. Do you know which Benatar song MTV used? Ok. let's "set your heart on" getting some correct answers and solve these song and artist clues. Remember part of the song's name has a "heart" reference in it's title. If your stuck and need additional help, just let me know in your response. Or, as the group The Temptations might say, "Don't Be Too Proud To Beg" if you need another clue. @dgobucks226 That explains it. I've heard of Fleetwood Mac. I'd really be under a rock if I didn't. But I don't know any of their music. I've also heard of Neil Young. Maybe there's hope for me.
